GEORGIOS ALKIS MANOUSIS

During my postgraduate studies, I have discovered both passion and skill for photography, which has mainly been the main driver of my paintings.
I enjoy abstraction, expanding the tradition of abstract expressionism, drawing influences from painters such as Willem de Kooning, Edvard Munch, Marc Chagall and Egon Schille among others.

In 2011, after attending a short course at St. Martin’s College of Arts in London, started painting vigorously.
I tend to predominantly use oils and acrylics as medium but I also like experimenting mixed media so use of ink can also be found in my paintings.
